MASSAGE

  • Active Release Technique

ART® is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.

  • Graston Technique

The Graston Technique incorporates a patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively detect and treat scar tissue and restrictions that affect normal function.

  • Myofascial Decompression

MFD is based on assessing and correcting movement inefficiencies. Backgrounds in biomechanics, kinesiology, and functional anatomy are essential to identify and treat ROM restrictions and muscular imbalance. Interventions include neuromuscular re-education, AAROM, and PNF, making the patient an active participant in their treatment.

  • Fascial Stretch Therapy

Fascial Stretch Therapy is a specialized stretching technique performed by Certified Fascia Stretch Therapists. This therapy is conducted on a treatment table equipped with comfortable straps that stabilize the body part not being worked on. FST combines different stretching techniques, including PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) and traction, to enhance flexibility and mobility without causing pain. The therapist uses a variety of movements and angles to release, relax, and stretch the fascia tissues and fibers.

  • Soma Therapy

“The somatherapy program works through the process of the joints, the fasciae, and neurovascular system with manual facilitation to enhance optimum motor control and human function.” - Guy Voyer
